Dietsch Werks

Dietsch Werks knows how to do birthdays!! Monday night our guys jumped in the 06 Sport Elise and Rob and I hauled the Exige to Thunderhill to participate in GGLC's final track day of the year. Tim followed behind in his 89 Esprit to partake in his very first track event and Sebastian's McQueen rode proudly on top of the Rover with a big smile on his face anxiously awaiting his chance to show off his abilities. We started the day off with a big breakfast at Black Bear Diner, rolled into Thunderhill 4 race cars strong and ended the day with miles and miles of track time under our tires with absolutely no problems. "The best birthday ever" says Rob!

hanging out on LT last night brought me to a nice compliment on Dietsch Werks KG Exige S240 by Larry at Specialty Car Craft. Check out his account of the bi monthly meetups organized by Terry Fu, one of the Bay Area's coolest Lotus owners. Larry's photoblog is bad ass featuring post after post of the planets most beautiful automobiles. One of my fav's is #702, a shot by Claeys Jelle of Lotus being built in the factory. Check out the matte-black Lotus in front of the orange car!
Much love to Petrolhead for his acknowledgement of our Exige in its darkest and then its finest hour!
Here she is in all her glory :)

Jon is busy getting the Esprit ready for GGLC's upcoming track day on Tuesday. Its a big day for the owner taking his car onto the track for the first time! Herb is setting up the suspension for Carlos' Elise and Rob is fixing a bad connection at headlight to car harness on a Krome Orange Exige.

Every other week Terry and friends organizes a dinner and drive for the Bay Area Lotus enthusiast. This event is sanctioned by the GGLC so check out the website and FB pages for info on the next one! The banner displayed above portrays the Lotus present at this particular meetup. Great job on the banner Terry!

Taken straight from the blog of the petrolhead! click the link to check out amazing photos from the event!

"On September 15, 2011, the petrolhead made it out to a San Jose Bay Area/GGLC drive and meet. Two separate groups met in Woodside and Saratoga. Each group took a short drive up the mountain roads known as Skyline Blvd., meeting at the Page Mill Rd. intersection.

From there, we drove down Page Mill Rd. into the heart of Palo Alto, home of Stanford University and Facebook, to grab some dinner at Nola.

Taking captive a near by parking garage, the Lotus cars started rolling in. The beautiful white Elise was the most aesthetically modified car present. The car is owned by Terry, who has tastefully modified his car with Reverie and self-fabricated body parts. Sitting quietly beside it, we have the petrolhead Exige!

One of each color! Why did Terry have to ruin the picture with his Painter’s taped from end!? To avoid rock chips on his long trip down the I-5 to Los Angeles, he says.
